From Les Praz village, the cable car glides over Chamonix golf course and takes you to the La Flégère site at an altitude of 1,877m. If you want to go higher, a chair lift takes you to the Index, at an altitude of 2,595m.
In summer: hill-walking paths to Lac Blanc, Les Chéserys lakes, etc., from where you can observe the medium-altitude wildlife, since the Brévent - Flégère area is in the large Aiguilles Rouges range, a natural conservation area. Dogs are not allowed, even on a leash.
